For Our Families

Volunteer & Work Study

Some of the best parts of Covenant are built by families who show up. When you serve here, you become part of the community your student walks into every day.

Come Partner With Us

One of the most important pieces of a vibrant school is the partnership Covenant shares with its families. We are grateful for the time and energy poured into this community year after year. Request a job through the volunteer form, and someone will help you find a place to serve.

Work Study

Serve, and Offset Tuition

Work Study lets families earn a credit toward tuition by completing approved campus jobs. Each job carries an award based on the skill and time it takes, and the credit posts to your FACTS student billing account once the work is done. The answers here cover how it works.

Who can complete Work Study?

Any adult family member who has passed a background check. A student may participate alongside an adult by signing up for two positions on the same job, with the job manager's approval.

How much do jobs pay?

Awards range from $250 to $1,000, set by the skill level and time each job requires.

How is the award applied?

When a job is finished, the job manager notifies the finance office and the credit posts to your FACTS student billing account.

Can I pay less toward tuition if I plan to do Work Study?

No. Tuition is paid according to your selected payment plan, and the Work Study credit is applied as jobs are completed.

What if I have already paid tuition in full?

The finance office still credits your FACTS account. You can keep the credit for future charges or request a payout by check.

What if I cannot finish an assigned job?

Contact the job manager so other arrangements can be made. Partially completed jobs do not receive credit at this time.

Why did I receive a 1099 for work I did not do myself?

Every award is applied through the FACTS billing system, so the primary person on the account receives a 1099 at year end as the beneficiary of the funds.

Does every job qualify for Work Study credit?

No. Only the jobs listed by job managers qualify.
