Four areas of focus guide our work over the next three years. Each reflects what we believe God is asking of us in this season — for our students, our community, and the Kingdom.
Every three years, Covenant's leadership, faculty, board, and families come together to discern where the school should focus its energy and resources. This plan is not a wish list. It is a set of commitments — things we intend to do, and are actively doing, in response to what God has placed before us.
Covenant Christian High School
Develop and implement a community-wide spiritual and character formation program rooted in Scripture and Covenant's core values, with grade-level outcomes and annual assessment.
Cultivate biblical unity across our community through clarity on the major issues of the Christian worldview, integrating that clarity into our Biblical and Theological Studies program.
Strengthen family partnership through parent and guardian worldview and spiritual formation training, with quarterly events and two-way communication channels in place.
Create and grow a robust, transferable alumni connections program — keeping alumni known, engaged, and meaningfully connected to current students and the school's mission.
Develop sustainable, transferable team care for faculty and staff — including competitive compensation, benefits, and rhythms of rest that help Covenant attract and retain exceptional Christian educators.
Grow student racial and ethnic diversity to 30% by 2028, with belonging supports in place, so that our student body better reflects the breadth of the Kingdom.
Create a Center for Excellence as an influencing hub for internal and external professional development — expanding capacity for academic and co-curricular excellence without compromising mission.
Fully develop Covenant Online Academy as a stand-alone, diploma-track online institution — extending Christ-centered education to students beyond our campus.
Expand trades education and professional certifications through industry partnerships — equipping students with marketable skills and tangible pathways alongside their college preparation.
Fully fund annual depreciation and self-fund capital improvements through the operating budget — so that Covenant's facilities are maintained and improved without emergency appeals.
Formalize a functional endowment of $3 million with a sustainable spending policy — building the financial capacity to weather storms and expand the mission long-term.
Execute a capital campaign of $20 million or more — expanding and optimizing on-campus facilities to match our mission, our enrollment, and the students God is bringing to Covenant.
