Diploma Pathways

Indiana has redesigned its high school diploma. Students in the Class of 2029 and beyond earn the Indiana Diploma, with optional Enrollment Honors Seals for added distinction. Students in the Class of 2027 and 2028 continue under Core 40 and the Academic Honors Diploma.

Earned on top of the Indiana Diploma. It signals strong preparation for college and competitive programs.

Enrollment Honors Plus Seal

Covenant's highest academic distinction. Complete every Enrollment Honors Seal requirement, then earn recognition as an AP Scholar with Distinction, complete 75 internship hours, or complete the Indiana College Core.

Two semesters. College-level introductory biology. ~1000 pages, 8 required labs. Prerequisite: Biology 1, Chemistry 1.
AP Chemistry APGr. 11+
Two semesters. Equivalent to one-year college chemistry. Prerequisite: Chemistry 1, Algebra 2.
AP Environmental Science APGr. 11+
Two semesters. Scientific principles behind natural systems, environmental problems, and the alternatives for resolving them. Prerequisite: Biology and Chemistry.
AP Physics 1 APGr. 11+
Two semesters. Algebra-based. Newtonian mechanics, waves, sound, electric circuits. Prerequisite: Concurrent Algebra 2.
AP Physics C: Mechanics APGr. 11+
Two semesters. Calculus-based mechanics and electricity/magnetism. Prerequisite: Concurrent Calculus.

Spring semester. Sketching, rendering, perspective; multiple media. Prerequisite: Intro to 2D Art.
Introduction to Photography Gr. 9+
Spring semester. Art history, criticism, and production through digital tools and darkroom processes, leading to portfolio quality work.
Photography II Gr. 10+
Two semesters. Advanced, project-based work in specialized lighting, composition, and digital editing, building a fine art portfolio.
Filmmaking Gr. 10+
Spring semester. Storytelling through scriptwriting, cinematography, directing, and editing. Elective credit only; does not count toward the Arts requirement.

Advanced Fitness & Conditioning (Period 0) Gr. 11+
Two semesters. Meets at 7:30am Tuesday through Friday so students can keep an elective in their schedule. Prerequisite: two semesters of Wellness or Fitness & Conditioning, or a current CCHS sport.
