God is the original Creator. When students create things, they participate in something that reflects His nature. When they perform, they serve. When they create beauty, they point to something beyond themselves.
We honor the Creator, the Storyteller, with our gifts.That conviction shapes how we teach every musical endeavor, how we approach every theatre production, and how we guide every student in the visual arts studio.
Covenant's choral program is one of the largest and most established parts of the Arts department. Five distinct choirs give every student, from first-time singers to seasoned performers, a place to grow, belong, and perform.
Choir at Covenant is more than music instruction. It is community. Students who sing together for four years leave with friendships, musical skills, and experiences that mark them for life. The program competes regionally and students have consistently placed at the state level.
All five choirs perform in multiple concerts throughout the year, including the Fall Concert, Christmas Concert, and the Arts Festival, all of which are open to the broader community.

An all female choir for developing singers who are ready for more demanding repertoire and part singing.
An all male choir for building confidence, developing voices, and growing in technique and musicianship in a supportive environment.
Auditioned mixed ensemble performing classical, sacred, and contemporary choral literature at the highest level.

Covenant Theatre produces two to three full productions each year, drawing on students from all grades and all experience levels. Whether your student has never set foot on a stage or has been performing for years, there is a place for them here.
Productions involve not just actors but full technical crews: lighting, sound, set design, costuming, and stage management. Students learn every dimension of live theatre.

Covenant's Visual Arts program gives students the tools and the freedom to create. From foundational drawing and design to advanced studio work, students learn to see the world differently and to respond to it with their hands and their imagination.
The annual Arts Festival brings student work before the wider Covenant community. It is a moment when the school stops to look at what our students have created, which is itself a statement about what we believe: that creating things is serious, that beauty matters, and that student work deserves to be seen.
AP Art History is also available for students who want to engage art at the level of ideas, exploring how human beings across every culture and century have created meaning through form and image.
Drawing, painting, mixed media, and two-dimensional design for students at every level.
Graphic and digital design principles, with emphasis on visual communication and creative problem-solving.
Two semesters. Portfolio submission in 2D, Drawing, or 3D. Requires portfolio review for admission. $100 exam fee.
Arts events at Covenant are open to the public. They are the most direct way to experience what this program is about.
