Student Life • 7 Countries Represented
International students from across the globe enrich every classroom, every lunch table, and every conversation at Covenant.
Covenant welcomes international students from countries across the globe. These students live with host families in the Indianapolis area, attend classes alongside Covenant students, and become part of the community in every sense.
They bring perspectives that challenge assumptions and expand the picture of what God is doing in the world. For every student who sits beside them, the experience is part of the formation that Covenant promises.
Our goal is for every international student to be exposed to God's love daily — through their host family, their teachers, and the community around them.
The International Student Program depends on Covenant families who are willing to open their homes to incoming students. Hosting is not just a service. It is a ministry opportunity that arrives at your doorstep.
Host families receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses for the international student. Families can also choose to apply the stipend directly to the student's account.
If your family is interested in learning more about long-term or short-term hosting opportunities, reach out to our International Program Coordinator.

Families who have hosted international students describe what the experience has meant for their homes and their faith.
"This was our first year being Covenant parents and our first time hosting an international student. We had no idea what to expect from living with someone new from another culture, but also realized our student didn't either. We decided the priority was our student feeling safe and comfortable, and most importantly for him to feel genuinely loved. Truly, the Lord did the rest. It's a completely new experience and a beautiful opportunity to learn and to love."The Martin Family • Dave, Lisa, and Isaac
"There are so many great things about hosting. To see the growth in July has been so rewarding. We host July because we want her to have opportunities. She feels like our family. We discuss her future, college plans, and goals. As time keeps going I learn about her world in China and she learns about our world in Indiana."Tim & Tina Corbin • Host Family
"Participating in the international program by hosting students has been one of my favorite things to be a part of. I loved being a host sister because I value the opportunity to experience different cultures and share a different culture within my own community. My family has hosted students three times and each student taught me something new about their culture."Saige Coleman '24 • Host Sister
