What Students Love
by Todd Canal, Class of 2011

Freedom - Our teachers are strict but they give us room to do much of what we want and trust us to do the right thing.

Mentoring - Teachers are always open to talk about school or what's going on in our lives. They are like us in many ways and know what we like and care about. For example, I always joke around with Mr. Goodwin about who's the bigger man. :)

Two Hallways - At Covenant you get to know just about everyone, and if you don't know them yet, you don't automatically judge them.

Sports and Clubs - For me, soccer is not just practice and games, it's two months of hanging out with your friends and playing the game that you love. The coaches also like to take us places and hang out with us.

Classes - It's an environment where you're never alone while working. Groups and teachers are always there to be with you and help you. You have to show the effort but then teachers will show compassion and help you through as long as you communicate with them.
