2006 Rocket Team Seeks Sponsors

Covenant Christian High School Rocket Team needs your support.  (See Sponsorship form)

The goal for Team America Rocketry Challenge 2006, the world's largest rocket contest, is to safely carry a payload of one egg to a height of 800 ft with a total time aloft of 45 seconds. Three years ago Covenant sent a team to the finals. This year seniors Jon Park, Jeff Stern, Krystal Woo, juniors Travis Eliason, Sarah Kleine, Jung-Up Park, and sophomore Josh Harcourt are looking to improve upon the school's success.  The finals are May 20th, in The Plains, Virginia, just outside Washington D.C.

Needless to say, rocketeering is not free.  Costs are a natural implication of trial runs, as the team seeks to perfect the launch height and time.  We are seeking funding from businesses and individuals to support the Covenant Christian Rocket Team.  Current projections indicate a need of $1,000 to cover test launches, and $2,000 to cover other expenses like travel to D.C. including food/gas.

Any size donation would be greatly appreciated and we would like to put your company name or logo on our team shirts and a link to your company's website on our Rocket Team page. There is also the potential of the announcer listing our sponsors at the national competition. To take advantage of this innovative advertising opportunity, or simply for tax deductible purposes, please make checks payable to Covenant Christian HS (see address below).

We will do our best to make you and our school proud. But most importantly, we will strive to succeed for the glory of God.

Thank you in advance,
