Indiana Choice Scholarships (Vouchers) at Covenant

Covenant Christian High School is a participating school in the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program (known widely as "voucher" program). Through this program, families who meet certain guidelines might be eligible for a Choice Scholarship (Voucher).

To be eligible for participation in the Indiana Choice Scholarship (Voucher) Program, the student must:

  • Be a legal resident of the State of Indiana
  • Either have enrolled in an Indiana public school for at least the two immediate semesters prior to enrolling at the nonpublic school (such as Covenant) OR have received a SGO Scholarship from a participating Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) such as Choice Charitable Trust or the Sagamore Institute at any time in their educational life
  • Meet income eligibility requirements (see chart or visit doe.in.gov/schoolchoice)
  • Be accepted to and plan to enroll at Covenant Christian High School

In addition to the Choice Scholarship Program, the State of Indiana has established a tax credit program that can provide scholarship funding through eligible Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs). The residency and public school requirements are the same as those for the Choice Scholarship (Voucher) Program, but the family's income can be somewhat higher (up to 200% of the federal reduced lunch income for the family's household size).
