What does the ideal Covenant graduate look like? These outcomes guide everything we do, from formal education to informal relationships outside the classroom.
Moral Reasoning/Critical Thinking
Students will demonstrate an understanding and proficiency in ethical and moral reasoning. They will practice and exhibit strong critical thinking skills.
Communication
Students will be effective in written, oral and media communication.
Christian Worldview/Doctrine
Students will understand, live out and defend a Christian view of life as opposed to contrary worldviews (the application of biblical truth to all of life).
Aesthetic Value
Students will exhibit an appreciation for the aesthetic quality of all life as they pursue academic understanding.
Academic Preparedness
Students will demonstrate a passion for life-long learning, academic inquiry and academic preparedness.
Historical Perspective
Students will recognize and appreciate their place in human and church history. They will see that their choices and actions are significant.
Stewardship (Physical Care, Environment)
Students will understand and practice stewardship over all creation including care for their physical bodies, time, finances and the environment.
Community (Family, Church, Friends, Human Dignity, Relationships)
Students will understand and participate in healthy, committed relationships. They will also recognize the worth of all human beings, especially those who are weak and in need.
Cultural Engagement
Students will see themselves as part of the larger community and display a desire for cultural dialogue and engagement.
Technology
Students will practice the ethical and proficient use of technology.
